The Beaker-wok chandelier is an upcycled chandelier made with reclaimed materials. Using an old wok pan and a set of beaker holders, artist Rodney Allen Trice brings upcycling to a new level. The result is an elegant and inspiring piece of illumination that will brighten up your home with more than just light.
Finished with eight chromed topped bulbs, each carefully placed inside a laboratory beaker holder the elegance of this piece is stunning. All the piece hangs from the old wok pan, which serves as a top cover which gives enough space for all the internal connections that are to be made on the ceiling.
The process of creation of this pieces has a story on its own. Rodney Allen trice had had the laboratory beaker and bottle holders for quite some time. They had even been used for another piece which needed a reinvention. One day, after contemplating the rusty wok next to the beaker holders, the creative juices started to flow, and magic happened. The drama of the chandelier comes from the industrial materials and draping of the cords. The chrome top bulbs with sockets hanging just complete the flow and illuminate beautifully.
This piece is unique and is the only one available, so stop the doubts, and purchase it now.
