Caracola Salvaged Wood Sculpture by Jose Antonio Andres Vera

Caracola (“sea shell” in Spanish) is a salvaged wood sculpture made with reclaimed elm wood. Inspired by the organic shapes of worn sea shells and using the natural sculpting process of the reclaimed wood, this unique sculpture evokes the essence of the sea in a stunningly beautiful piece of art.

With the help of his tools, Jose Antonio Andrés Vera repurposes reclaimed wood that bears a process of aged deterioration. The wood, which has been naturally sculpted into stunning raw pieces, is then given form into conceptual and evocative pieces of art.
