It was the first design of Adrian Lawson that used recycled products, it took quite awhile from concept to realization as he worked my way through design hurdles. For example, most blinds come with a drop of around 28 wooden slats so Adrian had designed each light to take 28 slats in order to reduce waste. Adrian also set up a recycle collaboration with a local blind manufacturer/restorer. He passes on any old blind components he finds to them and they pass on wooden slats in exchange. However, most recycled blinds are found discarded on the curbside around his local neighborhood.
The Avalon Upcycled wood lamp is an elegant piece that combines the use of recycled materials and modern technology. The piece is made using a plastic ring on which the slats are attached. The shipping is made on a flatpack to reduce shipping emissions.
The Avalon can be customized with a choice of cedar or basswood recycled wooden slats. The diffuser, which is inserted in the inside of the lamp, can also be customized with choices between Opaque and White. Opaque for a brighter look or white for a warmer look.
On the other hand, the plastic components that make up the lamp can also be customized in a range of colors, including Black, Beige, Grass Green and Light Blue. Components consist of 2 x slat rings and one suspension cord.
The Avalon Upcycled wood lamp includes a 900 mm cable and bulb holder, the light bulb is not included.

Processing Your Order
All orders will be processed and dispatched from our warehouse within 1 to 4 business days. If any items in your order are out of stock at the time your order is packed, we will notify you via email and update you on expected delivery.

While we do everything we can to ensure your order is delivered in a timely manner, we will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by any person as a result of delay caused by our carrier that we have not control over or by any event which is out of our reasonable control or foresight including but not limited to any delay caused by an incorrect delivery address being provided to us.

Easy Returns & Exchanges
If your pendant shade is not working properly, send an email to email@example.com with a brief description of the problem. For better service, take a photo of the problem and attach it to your email. We will reply within 24 hours on normal business days.
Please note we are not liable for any physical, incidental, consequential, or indirect damages.
We will repair or replace any defective parts, at our option, within a reasonable amount of time and free of charge any time during the first 12 months from purchase.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and proof of defective part and we will send you a prepaid return label.
If a refund is found to be warranted please allow 5-8 business days for your refund. We will send you an email once the unit(s) have been received and your refund has been processed
